You Only Have About Three Seconds to Make That First Impression

We're all aware of the good ol' first impression rule of thumb:

We only have ONE chance to make a FIRST impression and
we only have about 3 seconds to do it.

But what about those of us who meet others online?
What is it that's going to establish that first impression?

Take a look around and think about it for a moment.

It's nothing short of our picture!

Our picture is the very first impression that we are
leaving in the minds of those we meet online and
I want to challenge you a bit today.

Take a little look-see at your photo and ask yourself
the following questions:

1) Do I look like someone I'd like to get to know?
2) What kind of visual message am I sending about myself?
3) What kind of energy am I giving off?
ie. powerful, fun-loving, serious, professional, negative, etc
4) Do I look like someone I'd like to partner up with in business?
5) Do I look like a leader or someone who would rather hide under a rock?
6) Do I look like I take my business seriously?
7) What kinds of things do I look like I might be interested in
based on how I'm dressed?
8) Is my photo up close and personal or am I so far away that
I'm not giving people a chance to really see who I am?
9) Am I being my authentic self in my picture? ( Meaning, you're giving
people a glimpse of who you really are and not trying to be someone
else.)
10) Is this even me in the photo?

Your picture is going to make you or break you when you are first starting out
in network marketing. Of course, there is many more pieces to the pie,
but this piece is critical.

By the way, I'd like to say something about number 10.

If you don't have a picture of yourself online
and you're using a family pet, product image or
any other type of photo where everyone can see
it's clearly NOT you....
you need to change that right away.

People will join you because of YOU,
not because of your products
or the type of dog you own
or the famous movie star you have featured.

Well, I take that back.

Dog lovers are probably going to ask you about your furry friend,
but make sure you're in the picture! :-)

It really does come down to YOU.

Who are YOU?

I want to know!

We want to know!

So if you haven't done so already,
go out there and put together a great photo
that depicts the real you and invites others to
spend some time getting to know who you are.

Like attracts like.
Period!
